Dom La Nena & Rosemary Standley

 

Brazilian singer and cellist Dom La Nena and Franco-American singer Rosemary Standley (leader of the rock band Moriarty) joined in 2012 as Birds on a Wire, with the goal of producing a songbook of songs that accompany them since the childhood.

Like two birds on a string, voice and cello, the duo explores with great finesse and delicacy an eclectic repertoire, that makes us travel from Claudio Monteverdi to Leonard Cohen, passing by Violeta Parra, John Lennon, Giberto Gil or Tom Waits.

After more than 100 shows with rooms constantly sold out and an album with more than 25,000 units sold, the duo presents itself in Portugal for the first time. It could only be at Misty Fest!
